I was on a solo motorcycle trip from the west coast of Oregon, summer of 2014. My bike died on the road into town. Full electrical fail. A passing sheriff deputy suggested I roll down the road to Rushmore Automotive.

We broke down while visiting Custer State Park. The folks at Rushmore Automotive did everything they could to order the parts and make the repair at a reasonable cost. We were back on the road the next day.
I got help for free, right over the phone.
I got there and was greeted by a gent who told me he didn't know much about motorcycles but would do his best to help me. He hooked me up to his charger and charged my battery which was completely drained, checked my connections, and tightened a couple things. It started, and ran well, getting me home to Oregon.
He was prompt and at prices comparable to back home, in the Omaha area.
then fill the tank with premium, which most brands sell ethanol-free in the Hills. Sinclair, followed by an "insurance" top-up of Phillips at 3/4 tank, in our case. Worked great.
Our water pump seal failed last week near Custer. Our camp hosts suggested Steve at Rushmore Automotive.
While I was there, several locals came by with work to be done as well...saying that I had broken down at THE best place in the area.
Some guys would have strapped your car to a machine, charged an hour of labor,and said, "Vapor lock. Bad fuel."
I had cash in hand and tried to offer to pay him for his service, but he flatly refused.
I offered my sincere gratitude and a handshake instead.
We had our RAV4 and Ford F1 50 and now our Dodge Durango to Rushmore Automotivr for various needs. I could not be happier with the results we've had. Highly recommend this repair shop.
We had starting troubles later in the week. I have been coming to the Hills since 1988 and never experienced vapor lock until now. Apparently, a pump marked "no ethanol" gave forth the dreaded substance.
