Don't miss their Wild Caving tour if you are not afraid of small space and fit their physical requirements. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Simply unexceptable caving experience. Can't make reservations in advanced. Unwelcoming staff. 30+ people per tour. Perhaps the walls are lined with "jewels" perhaps not, can't tell due to improper lighting. Must use hand rails on over 700 stairs but the hand rails are covered in a massive amount of truly disgusting bat drippings and NO SOAP in the restrooms. Do yourself a solid and mark this an experience worth missing.

Awesome experience for me and the kids, the guide was excellent, taking care of the entire group had to be difficult for him, the idea that we were traveling around three hundred feet below the surface of the Earth and a giant natural cave was just amazing. I give four of five only because we got stuck on the highway buy a camper that was partially driven off the road blocking the highway and missed our first tour time. It would be nice if there were at least a break or discount when something like that happens but they don't offer anything like that. Not a huge deal I basically figure I gave them a donation, still worth going to see it

This was a lot of fun. We took the Kids here. They love visiting state parks. Very cool and very interesting. I don't know that I would go back again, but definitely worth going one time. Our guide was also fun and knowledgeable

Jewel Cave seems a bit of a misnomer as the crystal formations are fairly drab. Don't meet me wrong it's still very impressive and the cave system itself is truly massive. There are tours for all ages and abilities all thought I don't fit well in tight spaces, others would enjoy the more rigorous routes. If you had to go to just one place in the Black Hills, go to the Reptile Garden, but if you go to two then definitely go here
