A couple of spots near the entrance are free when it isn't summer season. The scenery is breathtaking and is centrally located in the Forest.
Decent site, plenty of water spikets and vault toilets. Toilets were a little stinky but not sure if that was just our location to them or something else. Everything was clean, host was nice, and the area remained quiet even though we were just a few miles from town.
Fantastic quiet little primitive campground close to Jewel Cave. Lots of space between campsites for privacy. Camp host was nice. neat rocks for the kids to enjoy and explore
Nestled in the Pines with your own freshly mowed lawn to delineate your campsite. Host was friendly and kept the area and pit toilets clean. Plenty of space between sites for privacy, not very crowded, centrally located to all attractions and quiet with very little road noise.
As for reviews saying no cell service...There is 1 bar near the entrance for ATT/VZW YMMV. If you must have service use a cell booster in your car/RV and get a spot near the entrance.
I love this place! The rocks and forest were very fun to play on! Lots of space for privacy :)
