Lower prices, yes, which is why I still maintain a three star rating. This is a fine place to stay the night, but for any longer you'll want to spend some more for a nicer resort. It promises a pool, and a mini-golf course. They will however shoo you away if you ask them to take the cover off of the pool, without so much as a reason why. I do have to admit though it seemed run down and old, the simple mini-golf course does provide about an hour of fun. The cabins house two bunk beds. Three of the mattress pads are "twin sized" and there's one full sized mattress pad, all are very uncomfortable and poorly constructed. Inside you're provided with two outlets, as well as another on the porch. For ten cabins, they only had two fire pits, so if you don't manage to claim one an hour before you eat, you won't be able to cook your dinner. The one thing that I especially disliked was the watered-down soap, found in all seven bathrooms that are shared between about a hundred people. Again, good for a one night stay, but it is definitely worth looking elsewhere for any longer.
Nice setting with nice laundry and bathroom facilities. Courteous and helpful staff. Convenient location. Downsides are campsites too close together and no campfires in the RV area. Also no cable or satellite and only two local tv stations.
Awesome campground, super nice individual private bathrooms, very friendly staff and well maintained grounds. Had an awesome time here
Nice campground off the beaten path. Sites are close but nice. Best campground bathrooms I have seen. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our tent got destroyed in a storm during our stay and the staff was very helpful in making sure our trip wasn't ruined because of it. They offered us a cabin to stay in for the remainder of the week. Very thankful for their help and accommodations.
You definately don't want to miss this place. Nice place for kids to play. Small pool. Very clean and the camp folks are really nice. There are some community type fire rings just none at the sites. Sites are fairly level and there is good water pressure. We don't have pets but we noticed many people don't think they need to clean up after theirs. Great place for the price and centrally located to all the places you'll want to visit. Would most definately stay again.
